Should I paint my bed to create the white distressed wood ’shabby chic’ look? (PICTURES INCLUDED)?

I suppose that has quite a bedroom modern style with wooden floor and measure liscio lle made windows hang (this room has been developed about 10 years ago). It has pale purple walls. I am bored of my base, that I 'the VE has had since I was 5 (now 18!) There is no point in me that I get a new base because I'm passing on some inside just one year. A miserable elegant seem good? (I mean this kind of style): http://www.simply-chic.net/images/White-Distressed-Bedside.jpg http://www.melodymaison.co.uk/product.php?productid=16435&cat=250&page=1 Here is the album of my basic and the room (please click on each image to see the wood correctly): http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s310/5starEmma/My% 20bedroom / Work with the type of wood that my base is made? It would be suited to the rest of the room by what you see?

The whole bed doesnt have much detail so theres not much detail so theres not much to sand the results hope this helps.

For your room however instead of purple the wood will work for your room however instead of brush on sealer keep in mind you might get it too heavily.
