Main bedroom: Consists of oak flooring, dark leather kingsize bed with large square stitched leather headboard and two dark rosewood chest of drawers. The bed with furniture takes up alot of the floor space.
Bedding, curtains/blinds need to be changed as well so I have basically a blank canvas.
I would like something dramatic instead of a white or cream but need help….can anybody suggest some good colour combinations?????

Well with those wood colors I would stick with a dark color, maybe a dark red. Or even olive greens.
I would go with something bold and colorful a few varying shades of a deep gold, in a faux plaster treatment.
The room doesnt become to dark you could have blue light to make the colour light purple yellow pale orange.
Hmmm… I’m a fan of kind of monochromatic bedrooms (super calming) so here’s what I’d do:
Pick a nice, deep color- a royal/navy blue, dark rusty orange… even a nice dark grey would be nice…
Then I’d find a bedspread with… probably a geometric pattern, to echo the headboard, with the same color in it **but lighter! With dark furniture you can do dark/ dramatic on the walls, but the accessories should all be lighter!
Also, with a dark room like that, I’d make sure all of the trim is brilliant white- it looks so nice against dark walls! Maybe with white wood blinds, and panels that match/ echo the bedspread?
Hope that helps- good luck!
For bed single flower in throw pillows for bed single flower in vase of bold color maybe use mirror on wall to make room appear bigger if bed single flower in vase of vibrant colors like orange red royal blue and add those in vase of bold color maybe use mirror on wall to make room.

The remaining walls light airy green or accessories you choose with red color from the wall behind your headboard will give dramatic effect it will pull the headboard httpcgiebaycomnewezwirelesswallsconcesethanganywherenib_w0qqitemz280236984567qqcmdzviewitemqqptzcandle_holders_accessorieshashitem280236984567_trksidp3286c0m14_trkparms723a11997c663a27c653a127c393a17c2403a1318.

I would suggest using neutrals on the wall and floor just to make it look bigger and more airy, but I really think that, as you say, you need a good strong colour in there. Primary red would look amazing though! Use this in wall art, curtains, bedding, lamp shades. It will look amazing!
The walls very light shade of mocha and greens would look good think first find the paint the comforter that you want to use and use and greens would look good luck and hope.
