An indian man and india is no exception indian girlfriend the first poster has much more suspicions.
The two posters who just said youll have no exception indian men sleeping with foreign women will almost certainly encounter more protective of female sexuality.

No. You are talking about INDIA. Not about any MUSLIM country.

You certainly would have hassle finding a place. Unmarried couples staying together is deemed prostitution, which is illegal in India, regardless whether there could be pay involved or not. To the hotel you present a risk as corrupt police would certainly demand “settlements” if they got to know about it.

If you were to book single nights – very difficult. If you had no luggage (the first thing police checks) – almost impossible. If you book for multiple nights and you bring traveller’s luggage, it already looks like the purpose of your stay is vacation and not “extramarital sex”. You can further prove your intention as you entered and will exit India together, so it is not like you were shopping for girls within India.

I recommend you help the hotel, and yourself, by just sticking to the story that you are actually married. Let your friend speak with the broadest British accent possible, and when they wonder say you are married and in the UK it is not uncommon to maintain his/her birth names. Casually talk about your vacation trip and visiting her family in so and so. Bla bla bla. Affording a few minutes of such show should give piece of mind to reception, after all all they need is a plausible story they can present to police themselves.

In Goa you can expect less problems than in other parts of India, so such story should do it for you.
